Karel Stoop is a internationally known Dutch artist who has developed his own experimental process to create unique and abstract works of art that explore natural and the mystery of being alive.
I consider myself as a traveler and observer, expressing my reality and relation with the universe through painting.

Each piece of art utilizes a blend of oils, pigments, and industrial tools to coax out a melody of color. The abstract representation he weaves exudes a sense of ordered chaos like that which is found mainly in the natural world. It leads a viewer to stare into the colored depths and wonder at the mystery hidden under the surface.
His artwork is collected by public and private collector and his work is exhibited internationally. This includes a warm relationship with our Central Cultural Montjuic gallery in Barcelona Spain where we love showing his work and having him visit.
