Arturo Andrade Gil

“This is how I feel”
Veracruz, México

Arturo Andrade Gil painted his colorful work “This is how I feel,” solely with a palette knife. The central figure of a woman leaves us to guess, and reflect on, the mood she is expressing. This masterful work is just one of the many talents and skills he possesses.

Arturo Andrade Gil graduated as an Industrial Engineer, specializing in international trade and logistics, but his vocation for the arts has always led him to live this parallelism between engineering and art, since adolescence he discovers his passion for photography and cinema; his constant concern for learning has led him to dabble in the plastic arts. His inclination for portrait photography connects him with fashion and catwalk photography.

Arturo believes that art helps to enhance our lives. He travels to various countries to share his culture, and learn about others. He has studied at many different venues including the Veracruz Institute of Culture and the National Center for the Arts.

His cinematic work was learned at ““Arte 7 Escuela de Cine y Productora” in Coyoacán with further study in fashion photography and the “Escuela Veracruzana de Cine Luis Buñuel” in Xalapa.

Arturo Andrade Gil has also taught at various institutes and for private clients. We are grateful to be able to share his work both in Barcelona and the United States.
